Thank you for the conversation about leadership development at Your Client. This proposal sets out the goals we discussed, how the engagement works, what stays confidential, and three options to choose from.

The Engagement

[Describe the leader and the goals, for example: coaching for Jordan Lee, newly promoted to VP of Operations, to build a leadership team that runs without daily escalations, and to communicate with more presence at the executive table.]

By the end of the engagement, the leader will have:

  • Clear, agreed development goals, informed by feedback from colleagues
  • New habits practiced in real work, not just discussed
  • A plan to keep growing after coaching ends

How It Works

1. Intake and 360. A deep-dive conversation with the leader, then confidential interviews with up to eight colleagues: their manager, peers, and direct reports. I summarize the themes in a report only the leader sees, and we use it to set goals together.

2. Alignment with the sponsor. The leader, their manager, and I meet to agree on the goals and how progress will show up at work.

3. Coaching sessions. 60-minute sessions every two weeks, by video or in person, with short email check-ins between them.

4. Midpoint check-in. The leader, sponsor, and I review progress against the goals and adjust the focus if needed.

5. Closing review. A final three-way meeting to review progress and agree on how the leader will keep growing.

Confidentiality

What the leader says in sessions stays between the leader and me. The sponsor hears about attendance and progress toward the agreed goals, in meetings the leader attends. The only exception is a risk of serious harm, or a disclosure the law requires.

Investment

Each option includes the 360 intake, sessions every two weeks, and sponsor meetings. Fees are fixed for the engagement.

What I Need From You

  • Time on the leader's calendar for sessions every two weeks
  • Introductions to the colleagues I interview, and their time for a 30-minute call
  • A sponsor who joins the alignment meetings

Schedule

I can start the intake within two weeks of your signed approval. The 360 takes about three weeks, and coaching sessions begin as soon as goals are agreed.

Terms

Payment. 50% of the selected option is due on signing, and 50% at the midpoint check-in. Invoices are due within 15 days.

Rescheduling. Sessions can be moved with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled later, or missed, count as held.

Unused sessions. Sessions should be used within the engagement. Any not used expire 30 days after it ends.

Ending early. Either party may end the engagement with 14 days' written notice. Fees for sessions not yet held are refunded, or not invoiced.

What coaching isn't. Coaching isn't therapy, counseling, or legal or financial advice. If another kind of support would serve the leader better, I'll say so.

Acceptance
